Senior Business Development Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in engineering design services (CAD, CAE, product design, FEA, etc.)
• Understand client needs and propose tailored engineering solutions to meet their technical and commercial expectations.
• Lead end-to-end business development cycles – from prospecting, proposal development, to contract closure.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to develop customized solutions and pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote services and gather leads.
• Track sales targets, prepare reports, and manage CRM tools to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine service offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Civil preferred). MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales of engineering design services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business events.

Preferred:

• Existing client network in engineering services industry.
• Experience with international sales (especially in US, Europe, or Middle East markets).
• Familiarity with PLM, Industry 4.0, or digital engineering trends.
