Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive/Manager – Engineering Design Services Location: Pune (Viman Nagar ) Department: Business Development / Sales Experience: 3+ years in engineering services or technical solution sales Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Professional to drive revenue growth in engineering design services across industries like automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, and consumer products. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding of design and CAD/CAE services and proven experience in B2B sales or account management. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in engineering design services (CAD, CAE, product design, FEA, etc.) Understand client needs and propose tailored engineering solutions to meet their technical and commercial expectations. Lead end-to-end business development cycles – from prospecting, proposal development, to contract closure. Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to develop customized solutions and pricing strategies. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote services and gather leads. Track sales targets, prepare reports, and manage CRM tools to maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine service offerings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Civil preferred). MBA is a plus. Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales of engineering design services. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel for client meetings and business events. Preferred: Existing client network in engineering services industry. Experience with international sales (especially in US, Europe, or Middle East markets). Familiarity with PLM, Industry 4.0, or digital engineering trends.
