Business Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Equity Dealer to join our brokerage firm. The role involves executing trades on behalf of clients, providing market insights, maintaining compliance with regulations, and ensuring seamless client service. The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, analytical ability, and excellent communication skills. 

·   Achieve sales targets by converting leads into long-term partnerships.

·  Advising clients on their equity portfolio by leveraging in-house research calls to generate brokerage. 

·  Develop and nurture a long-term relationship with customers to ensure high retention of existing customers while generating new business through referrals.

·  To stay updated with the market and industry developments

·  Ensure all activities adhere to Compliance and Risk guidelines.

·  Cross-selling third-party products, like MF and Insurance

·  Execute buy and sell orders for equity, derivatives, and other exchange-traded products on behalf of clients.

·  Monitor stock market trends, indices, and client portfolios to provide timely updates and trading opportunities.

·  Handle online trading platforms, ensure error-free order execution, and manage risk exposure within defined limits.

·  Provide prompt resolution to client queries regarding trades, settlement, margin requirements, and account-related issues.

·  Ensure compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, and other regulatory guidelines while executing trades.

·  Generate daily / periodic trade reports, P&L, and reconciliations for clients and management.

·  Build strong client relationships and assist in increasing trading volumes and client engagement.

·  Coordinate with research and advisory teams to relay relevant market insights to clients.

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• NISM-Series-VIII (Equity Derivatives) Certification

• 1–3 years of experience as an Equity Dealer / Trader in a brokerage or financial services firm preferred.
• Proficiency in trading terminals (e.g., ODIN, NEST, NOW, or similar platforms).
• Strong knowledge of equity markets, derivatives, margin systems, and compliance rules.
• Excellent communication, client-handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
