Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The role involves generating leads, nurturing prospects, closing deals, and expanding the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and digital channels.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to develop growth strategies.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Meet potential clients to understand their requirements and pitch relevant solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding and handover process to internal teams.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to close profitable deals.

4. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase business in assigned regions.
  • Provide insights and reports on sales performance and market opportunities.
  • Contribute to business planning and forecasting.

5. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product teams for client requirements.
  • Participate in promotional activities, events, and brand-building initiatives.

6. Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Submit regular MIS reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5–6 years of experience in sales/business development (preferably in EdTech, IT, or service-based industries).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
