Job Description

Role: Business Development Manager The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving strategic sales growth and expanding the company’s footprint in the elevator solutions sector within the assigned territory. The role requires a strong focus on client engagement, technical understanding of site feasibility, and proactive business development. The ideal candidate will represent the organization in all client-facing interactions, deliver customized vertical mobility solutions, and contribute to sustained revenue growth through a consultative, value-driven sales approach. Key Responsibilities: Lead Management & Client Engagement Call and follow up with enquired leads to understand their elevator requirements. Schedule in-person meetings with prospective clients to discuss solutions in detail. Site Feasibility Assessment & Product Consultation Visit client locations to evaluate the feasibility of elevator installation based on site conditions and technical constraints. Recommend suitable elevator models and explain specifications, features, and value propositions clearly. Business Development & Market Expansion Actively generate new leads by scouting under-construction or upcoming projects and networking with builders, architects, and contractors. Explore untapped markets within the region to identify potential clients and build a healthy sales pipeline. Sales Target Achievement Work towards achieving assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets through structured follow-ups and timely closures. Maintain a consistent conversion ratio by effectively handling objections and presenting tailored proposals. Client Relationship Management Foster long-term relationships with clients to drive referrals, repeat business, and customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through product selection, pricing, and post-sale queries. Internal Coordination & Execution Support Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions and seamless project execution. Follow up on documentation, quotations, and client approvals as needed. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of leads, site visits, meetings, proposals, and order statuses using CRM tools or internal systems. Provide regular updates to reporting managers on sales progress, challenges, and market insights.
