Job Title:Business Development Manager – Signage & Signboard Manufacturing Job Summary:The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new clients, developing strong relationships, and increasing sales for signboard manufacturing and signage solutions. The role involves market expansion, client acquisition, project coordination, and achieving revenue targets across retail, commercial, and corporate segments. Key Responsibilities:Business Development & SalesIdentify and develop new business opportunities for signboards, glow signs, LED signage, ACP works, digital signage, and custom branding solutions. Generate leads through field visits, referrals, cold calling, networking, and online inquiries. Conduct client meetings to understand branding and signage requirements. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and cost estimates. Negotiate pricing, timelines, and contracts to close deals. Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with clients including retailers, builders, architects, franchises, and corporates. Act as the single point of contact from enquiry to project handover. Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business. Handle client feedback, concerns, and post-installation follow-ups. Market Research & StrategyStudy market trends, competitor pricing, and emerging signage technologies. Identify new markets, locations, and business verticals. Suggest new products, designs, or service improvements based on market demand. Internal CoordinationCoordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure project feasibility and timely execution. Share accurate client requirements, drawings, and deadlines with internal teams. Monitor project progress and ensure delivery as committed. Target & Revenue ManagementAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Track enquiries, conversions, and revenue through reports. Maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecasting. Brand RepresentationRepresent the company professionally during meetings, exhibitions, and site visits. Promote the company’s brand image, quality standards, and service capabilities. Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in signboard manufacturing, advertising, printing, or related industries. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Good understanding of signage materials, fabrication processes, and installation workflows. Ability to read basic drawings and understand client briefs. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently. Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits. Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 3–7 years of relevant experience in signage / advertising / branding industry is an advantage.
