Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, pursue, and acquire new business opportunities in staffing, IT services, and consulting sectors.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for acquiring new clients in targeted industries (IT, BFSI, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop customized proposals, pitch decks, and pricing models aligned with client requirements.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, HR Heads, Procurement, etc.).
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and offering tailored workforce and technology solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and account retention.

Staffing & IT Services Expertise

  • Deep understanding of recruitment lifecycle (permanent, contract, RPO) and IT service offerings.
  • Collaborate with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and suggest service improvements.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor junior business development executives or account managers.
  • Set quarterly and annual targets, KPIs, and drive performance across the team.
  • Work closely with senior management to align business development strategies with organizational goals.

Reporting & CRM

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities using CRM tools.
  • Generate regular reports on sales forecasts, revenue projections, and pipeline status.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience

    in business development within

    staffing, IT services, and consulting domains

    .
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian staffing and IT services market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
