Position Overview: As a Business Development Executive at [Company Name], you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
• Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision-makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
• Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven track record in business development or sales, with 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

• Follow established SOPs for lead generation, client meetings, and sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system regarding sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions.
• Adhere to SOPs for proposal development, ensuring all proposals are tailored to client needs and aligned with company capabilities.
• Implement SOPs for post-sale handover to account management or project teams, ensuring smooth transition and client satisfaction.
• Utilize SOPs for regular reporting on sales performance, KPIs, and pipeline status to management.

Measurable Objectives (MOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
• Increase client acquisition and retention rates.
• Meet or exceed KPIs related to calls, meetings, and proposals.
