Job Description

1. Market Research & Opportunity Identification

  • Analyze trends in the solar energy market (residential, commercial, industrial, utility-scale).
  • Identify new geographic markets and potential customer segments.
  • Stay updated on government policies, subsidies, and incentives related to solar power.

2. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Generate leads through cold calls, networking, events, and digital platforms.
  • Qualify potential customers by understanding their energy needs and budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., business owners, facility managers, government officials).

3. Sales & Proposal Development

  • Present solar solutions to clients (e.g., rooftop, ground-mounted, off-grid/on-grid systems).
  • Create and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and cost estimation of projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.

4. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with the project, design, and installation teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor progress and resolve client concerns during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure client satisfaction post-installation.

5. Partnership & Channel Development

  • Build partnerships with EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) firms, vendors, and solar installers.
  • Manage third-party channels and distributors for sales support.
  • Identify and engage with financial institutions for solar financing options.

6. Regulatory & Policy Compliance

  • Stay informed about local/state/national solar energy policies and compliance requirements.
  • Assist clients in availing government incentives, subsidies, or net metering benefits.

7. Reporting & Strategy Development

  • Track sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
  • Provide regular business forecasts and strategy inputs to senior management.
  • Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions and sales data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
