Job Description

An individual who identifies new sales leads, builds and maintains strong client relationships, and drives revenue growth by executing effective sales strategies. They analyze market trends, conduct client meetings, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with teams to expand the company’s customer base and achieve business objectives. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills to generate new business and contribute to the company's growth.

 

Key Responsibilities -

Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Conduct research to identify prospective clients, especially schools, educational institutions, and NGOs interested in mental wellness for students.
  • Develop, generate, and manage a pipeline of leads using digital, in-person, and networking channel.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit

Strategic Partnerships

  • Build and nurture relationships with potential partners, mental health professionals, educational leaders, and other stakeholders to advance the company's mission and solutions.

Client Engagement & Sales

  • Engage directly with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate Humming Minds Life’s products, such as digital wellness kits, workshops, and support services.
  • Customize and deliver pitches and presentations to key decision-makers in the education sector, positioning Humming Minds as a leader in student mental wellness.

Business Development Strategy

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for introducing new solutions and scaling existing programs.
  • Analyze feedback and market trends to refine the business development approach and improve offerings

Relationship Management

  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat engagements.
  • Act as the brand ambassador at events, conferences, and trade shows relevant to mental health and education.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Track all business development activities, maintain an accurate CRM, prepare regular sales reports, and provide insights for strategic planning.

Desired Skills -

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and/or sales within wellness or tech.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and online outreach.
  • A passion for mental wellness and youth empowerment is highly valued by organizations like Humming Minds Life.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years in sales industry or any related industry.

OR

MBA with 1 year of experience in sales industry or related industry

  • Empathic listener & persuasive speaker.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • CRM experience is preferred.
