Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for reaching out to event organizers, managing communication through calls and emails, maintaining accurate data records, and supporting back-office administrative functions. The role requires excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills to ensure the smooth operation of business development.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Communication:

Identify and reach out to potential event organisers through phone calls and emails.

Build and maintain strong relationships with event organisers, exhibitors, and industry contacts.

Follow up on inquiries and maintain consistent communication for business opportunities.


Mailing & Coordination:

Draft and send professional emails to potential and existing clients.

Maintain an updated database of communication and responses.

Coordinate internally to ensure timely follow-ups and responses to clients.


Data Management:

Collect, list, and update data related to event organisers, exhibitions, and potential leads.

Ensure all information is accurately entered into CRM or Excel databases.

Prepare reports and summaries of communication activities.


Back-Office Administration:

Support the business development team in documentation and record-keeping.

Handle administrative tasks such as data filing/entry, report preparation, and scheduling.

Assist in preparing marketing materials or presentations if required.


Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in telecalling, sales coordination, or business development.

Strong verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency required).

Excellent organisational and data management skills.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
