Business Development Executive (BDE) – Roles & Responsibilities
1. Institutional Outreach & Partnerships
College & Institute Visits:
Regularly visit colleges and institutes to meet TPOs, HODs, and Principals.
Represent Study Smart professionally and build strong, long-term relationships to drive future collaborations.
MoUs with Institutes:
Identify and finalize partnerships with language institutes, test prep centres, and high-end course providers.
Drive negotiations and facilitate signing of MoUs for mutually beneficial engagement.
MoUs with Colleges:
Pitch and execute institutional tie-ups with colleges for long-term collaborations such as desks, exclusive counseling, or co-branded initiatives.
Ensure visibility for Study Smart across college platforms.
2. Referral & TPO Engagement Programs
Referral Program with TPOs:
Design and roll out referral models for TPOs and HODs, encouraging them to recommend Study Smart to students.
Maintain professional relationships while ensuring compliance and transparency in any referral-based engagements.
TPO Follow-ups:
Engage TPOs with regular updates on events, student feedback, and success stories to keep the relationship active and positive.
3. Event Planning & Execution
Seminars & Student Desks:
Organize and execute on-campus seminars, desks, and career counselling drives.
Ensure all logistics, branding, and marketing materials are arranged and executed effectively.
Representation at Events:
Actively participate in college fests, job fairs, exhibitions, and workshops.
Represent Study Smart at all external events
4. Promotions & Data Collection
Offline Promotion:
Execute offline branding activities like poster displays, canteen branding, and pamphlet distribution at colleges and coaching classes.
Lead Generation:
Collect high-quality student data during events, visits, and promotions for future engagement.
Ensure leads are updated and categorized in CRM with relevant tags.
5. IELTS & Coaching Promotion
Exam Centre Outreach:
Visit IELTS, TOEFL, and other test centres to promote Study Smart’s coaching services.
Interact with aspirants and distribute flyers, capturing interest and contact details.
6. Campus Ambassador Program
Recruitment & Management:
Recruit student ambassadors and marketing interns in colleges to promote Study Smart.
Maintain regular contact, share marketing content, and track performance of ambassadors.
7. Reporting & Coordination
Documentation & Reporting:
Submit daily visit reports, weekly performance summaries, and event outcome reports.
Maintain a record of meetings with institutions and progress on partnership discussions.
