Business Development Executive – Logistics and Courier Industries

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to support our logistics and courier sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the logistics industry, be customer-focused, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. This role involves coordinating sales activities, managing customer accounts, and ensuring smooth operations between the sales team, clients, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing sales proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Liaise between customers, sales teams, and operational departments to ensure the smooth processing of orders and services.
• Track and manage customer inquiries, providing information on services, quotes, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and follow up on sales leads, ensuring timely responses and follow-through.
• Assist in the preparation of sales targets, tracking progress, and reporting on performance.
• Resolve customer issues related to delivery or service discrepancies, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
• Support sales managers and teams with various logistical tasks such as route planning and scheduling to optimize delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales coordination, preferably within the logistics, courier, or transportation industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage customer accounts and foster strong relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM tools, and logistics management software.
• Knowledge of logistics, courier services, and supply chain management is preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
