Summary

The Business Analyst supports consulting projects through structured primary and secondary research, quantitative analysis, and insight generation. The role involves building market sizing, business models, and client-ready presentations while contributing to strategic recommendations. Analysts work closely with CXOs and founders to solve business problems using data-backed approaches.

Requires top-tier graduates (0–3 years experience) with strong analytical skills, communication, and an ownership-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Primary research

• Conduct expert, consumer, and industry ecosystem interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative insights aligned with project objectives
• Source and engage experts using both internal networks and external vendors
• Design human-centered questionnaires and allocate survey samples across cohorts
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to effectively execute and monitor primary research initiatives like surveys

Secondary Research

• Leverage internal IP, public sources, and other secondary research tools to validate hypotheses and strengthen business recommendations

Analysis

• Perform quantitative analysis and derive insights to support recommendations for assigned workstreams

Client deliverables

• Support the development of Excel-based models, such as business models, market sizing, and basic financial models, under guidance from senior team members
• Assist in preparing client presentations, contributing to storyline structuring and ensuring logical flow across slides

Consulting frame of reference

• Work with founders and CXO’s directly to help address business problems through research involving competitive intelligence, GTM strategy inputs, market sizing, pitchbook support etc. We expect analysts to develop a culture resting on:

In addition

• Contribute / Drive thought leadership pieces working with senior stakeholders in the organization
• Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies
• Ensure Redseer quality of deliverables on each engagement

Candidate requirements

• Graduate from Top Tier Colleges with 0-3 Years of work experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, first-principles, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in MS office.
• Must possess the ability to meet the stipulated quality of tasks and timelines.
• Driven/Motivated about working in an entrepreneurial setup & eager to learn and take ownership of assignments.
• Should be an excellent team player.
