Job Summary:

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business processes and how they interact with ERP systems.
• Analyze customer pain points and suggest ERP-level customizations or configurations to meet business needs.
• Bridge the gap between non-technical business users and technical developers by clearly articulating requirements.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and wireframes based on business needs.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed changes align with ERP capabilities.
• Document current and future state business processes with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with ERP consultants, solution architects, and development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.
• Participate in testing, user validation, and feedback collection to refine delivered solutions.
• Maintain clear and organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in projects involving ERP platforms.
• Experience working with or around ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, etc.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of ERP modules (Finance, SCM, Procurement, Sales, etc.) and their business impact.
• Ability to quickly learn and analyze ERP workflows, data models, and business rules.
• Excellent skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and process mapping tools like Lucidchart or Visio.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum) and working with development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to ERP customization/configuration projects.
• Background in industries like manufacturing, logistics, finance, or services.
• Understanding of integration points between ERP and external systems.
