Skills and Competencies
Required:
  • 2–4 years’ experience in sales operations, business analysis, Salesforce administration, or process automation.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Conga (CPQ, CLM, and Order Management) tools.
  • Exposure to or strong interest in AI/automation as applied to business processes (sales analytics, workflow automation, predictive modeling, chatbots, prompt engineering for quoting applications).
  • Proficient in data analysis, process mapping, and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a change-driven environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting or implementing AI-powered sales tools, such as chatbots and intelligent pricing agents.
  • Technical experience configuring Salesforce workflows, CPQ rules, and contract automation.
  • Hands-on knowledge of developing, refining, and deploying AI prompts for quoting, pricing, and sales process automation.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus, especially with a focus on analytics, technology, or process optimization.
  • Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, and implement AI-driven sales workflows in Salesforce, CPQ, CLM, and Order Management to streamline processes, eliminate bottlenecks, enhance automation, and optimize user adoption
  • Analyze existing quote-to-order workflows in Salesforce, CPQ, CLM, and Order Management to identify bottlenecks, pain points, and manual processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements for automation and AI-driven enhancements, including process intelligence, predictive analytics, and guided selling features.
  • Design, configure, and rollout automated workflows and AI solutions (auto-quoting, intelligent contract review, opportunity scoring) within the sales tech stack.
  • Develop and optimize prompt engineering frameworks for AI quoting agents, enabling sales reps to generate accurate, compliant quotes using natural language requests and conversational interfaces.
  • Incorporate AI-powered chatbots to assist sales teams with CPQ-related questions, such as product compatibility or pricing rules, allowing sellers to receive instant, contextual support and reduce dependency on manual lookups.
  • Deploy intelligent agents to suggest discounts based on deal size, customer loyalty (usage, cases, etc.), or urgency (e.g., end-of-quarter push), ensuring recommendations balance profitability and competitiveness.
  • Support data collection, validation, and analysis to enable business intelligence and AI initiatives.
  • Document processes, map user journeys, and ensure system changes are well-communicated and adopted within sales and sales operations teams.
  • Monitor performance and user adoption of new solutions, providing feedback for further optimization and reduction of manual work.

Our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) team is responsible for streamlining and optimizing the end-to-end quote-to-order process within Moody’s. We enhance sales efficiency through automation, implement AI-driven solutions to improve decision-making, and ensure seamless integration across Salesforce, CPQ, CLM, and Order Management systems.
