Must-Have Skills:

  • Business Analysis in Government / e-Governance projects
  • Requirement Gathering (BRS, FRS, SRS, Use Cases)
  • AS-IS / TO-BE Process Mapping
  • Stakeholder Management (Government Departments)
  • UAT Support & Test Case Preparation
  • Process Documentation & Functional Specifications
  • Knowledge of G2C, G2B, G2G service models


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum

    4+ years of experience

    as a Business Analyst in IT / e-Governance / Public Sector projects
  • Hands-on experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and functional analysis
  • Experience working with government stakeholders and statutory bodies


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in preparing

    BRS, FRS, SRS

    , and other government-standard documentation
  • Familiarity with public administration systems, citizen service platforms, or utility systems
  • Proficiency in tools such as

    MS Visio, Balsamiq, Figma, JIRA

    , or equivalent
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws, digital governance frameworks, and government IT policies
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and project goals
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions including workshops and interviews
  • Document

    Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Use Cases

  • Develop

    AS-IS and TO-BE process flows

    to support process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate translation of functional requirements into system features
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as process flows, data flow diagrams, and user manuals
  • Support

    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    by preparing test cases, coordinating testing, and validating outputs
  • Monitor project progress against defined KPIs, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, digital governance standards, and government IT policies
  • Provide training, handholding, and post-implementation support to end-users and government officials
