Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand current state architecture of the Compliance Connect Portal (Angular/PowerBI), which supports dashboards like Customer Profile and 2C reports.

• Review the UI components and data visualizations from a business user’s standpoint, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance reporting needs.

• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and relevance in UI reports and dashboards in coordination with technical and data teams.

• Perform business-focused testing of UI performance, visual clarity, and usability for decision-making processes.

• Document findings and provide recommendations to improve overall effectiveness, user experience, and business alignment of the platform.

• Coordinate with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Data Engineering, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into actionable items.

• Analyze backend data processes and integrations (e.g., Snowflake, ECW pipelines) to ensure consistent data flow and representation in the UI.

• Participate in UAT and post-release validation of reports, metrics, and UI functionality.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst in the Risk & Compliance domain within Banking or Financial Services.

• Familiarity with compliance reporting dashboards and key metrics used in regulatory, internal audit, or operational risk contexts.

• Good understanding of UI/UX principles from a business user perspective – focusing on clarity, data interpretation, and usability.

• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience reviewing dashboard data (PowerBI or similar) and ensuring business validity.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with data teams, developers, and business stakeholders.

• Exposure to data platforms like Snowflake, SQL querying, and data validation is a plus.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Angular-based UIs.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA, Basel, GDPR) is highly desirable.

• Exposure to Agile delivery environments and user story documentation.

• Understanding of performance KPIs for web-based compliance tools.
