Role Summary

We are looking for a

Business Analyst

who will be responsible for creating and maintaining business dashboards, Excel reports, and pivot table analyses to help management make data-driven decisions. The role will closely work with various departments to capture operational performance and present actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain interactive dashboards for sales and operations performance tracking.
  • Prepare and manage Excel reports with pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas for detailed analysis.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand data needs and provide timely reporting solutions.
  • Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Track business KPIs and prepare monthly/quarterly performance summaries.
  • Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Support management with ad-hoc data analysis requests.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Advanced Formulas) and experience with Power Query and VBA/macros for automation.
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation (writing queries, joins, aggregates) and familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and experience building or supporting ETL/data pipeline processes.
  • Experience in dashboard creation and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with DAX or similar expression languages.
  • Experience with data analysis scripting (Python with pandas or R) for advanced analytics and automation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of KPI definition, metric standardization, and translating business requirements into measurable indicators.
  • Strong analytical thinking, data modeling, validation, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and to automate repetitive reporting tasks.

Preferred

  • Exposure to retail, interior design, or project-based industries.
