What this job involves:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing critical support to the business. With 6-8 years of experience, the Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting complex data, generating insights, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth and operational excellence. This role requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction and project management environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial and operational data, identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Managing Director, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows to support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize business performance, increase efficiency, and drive profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and provide regular updates to the Managing Director on business performance and areas for improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the construction and project management industry.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide input on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Provide support in preparing business proposals, presentations, and other documentation for clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to the construction and project management industry.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications:
- Graduation in any stream.
- 6 to 8 years of post graduation experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the construction and project management industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Efficient in using dashboard and AI tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Knowledge of construction and project management concepts, processes, and industry trends is a plus.
