Position Summary

Program & portfolio manager of Business Insights and Analytics efforts, as well as a leader in establishing a data-driven culture and coordination across TOEFL.

Experts focused on medium- and long-term analytics innovation and prioritization with a holistic view across TOEFL.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the business insights and analytics project portfolio and associated resources for TOEFL
• Prioritize internal focus of innovation efforts and the corresponding training needed to drive toward an analytics-embedded organization
• Understanding of key data & analytics capabilities and how they can enable better business decisions
• Ability to clearly communicate with senior leadership and prioritize efforts across functional areas
• Presence of long-term vision for analytics in TOEFL
• Strong understanding of data management, statistical analysis, modeling, reporting and visualization tools and software
• Clear vision of emerging analytics capabilities (e.g., AI modeling)
• Work with the leadership to map out future state and roadmap for embedding analytical competence throughout TOEFL
• Drive analytics process standardization and adoption of tools and methods
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function
  

Experience and Skills:

• Thought leader with proven record of success, directing efforts in the areas of analytics, cross functional data analytics transformation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience using statistical and analytics software (e.g., Alteryx, AWS native services for analytics)
• Experience using programming language such as SQL, Python and/or R to process data
• Working knowledge of data acquisition and cleanse techniques
• Ability to generate business insights via reporting and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Working knowledge of data warehousing / data lake
• Proven record delivering business value with technical projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Undergraduate degree (or relevant experience) in related quantitative or STEM field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary
• Master's degree in a quantitative or STEM field preferred
• 5+ years of diverse experience in data analysis, handling increasingly more complex and diverse data analyses is necessary. Strong programming background, and coursework in statistics are essential
