We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient VoIP Sales Engineer to support our B2B clients in the US market . This role combines deep technical expertise in VoIP systems with consultative selling to deliver tailored communication solutions that meet SMB & enterprise business needs. Job Title: VoIP Engineer (US Process) Location: Infopark – Phase1, Kochi, Kerala Shift: US Business Hours (EST/PST) Department: Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales Key Responsibilities Act as the primary technical resource during the sales process for VoIP and UCaaS solutions. Work closely with the sales team to qualify prospects and develop customized VoIP architectures. Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective B2B clients in the US. Understand customer pain points and recommend appropriate solutions (SIP Trunking, PBX, SBCs, Call Centers, etc.). Interface with product and support teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues pre-sale. Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and system diagrams. Support solution design for on-premise, hybrid, or cloud-based VoIP deployments (e.g., FusionPBX, FreePBX, 3CX, or custom platforms). Maintain accurate records in the CRM and contribute to sales pipeline development. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 3–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales or VoIP solution engineering. Strong understanding of VoIP technologies: SIP, RTP, PBX, DID provisioning, codecs, NAT traversal. Experience with platforms like FusionPBX, Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or Freeswitch . Familiarity with VoIP carriers (e.g., IDT Express, Twilio, Telnyx, VoIP.ms, Bandwidth). Strong grasp of network fundamentals: firewalls, ports, NAT, QoS, etc. Ability to work US shifts and communicate effectively with North American clients. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Nice to Have Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce). API integration knowledge (REST, Webhooks). Hands-on experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Wireshark, Homer). Familiarity with compliance standards (HIPAA, STIR/SHAKEN, 911, etc.).
