Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead our Delhi Branch . The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations, business development, client relationships, team performance, and P&L of the branch. The candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of air or sea import/export and experience leading a team in the freight forwarding or customs clearance (CHA) domain. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage overall branch operations, including air/sea import & export shipments. Ensure efficient and compliant handling of all freight forwarding and customs clearance processes. Drive business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships. Ensure timely execution of shipments, documentation, billing, and collections. Monitor and achieve branch revenue, profitability, and growth targets. Supervise and mentor a team of operations, documentation, and sales staff. Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, and customs officials as needed. Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Provide timely reports and updates to senior management. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 20 years in Freight Forwarding / CHA industry. Leadership: At least 3 years as a Branch Manager or Deputy Branch Manager. Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of either air or sea freight – import/export processes, documentation, and regulations . Team Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Communication: Excellent verbal and written English. Tech-savvy: Comfortable with digital tools, ERP/CRM systems used in logistics. Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Delhi.
