Position - Executive Air Export

What is your role

This role involves managing and optimizing the end-to-end air freight process, from preparing documentation to coordinating with carriers and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. It focuses on maximizing profitability, minimizing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Job responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.

Identify opportunities for growth and optimize service offerings to customers.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs rules and regulations.

Prepare customs entry declarations, detailing all shipment-related information.

Manage the preparation and submission of the Shipping Bill and other essential documents.

Draft and obtain approval for the Air Waybill (AWB) and Release Bill of Lading.

Develop shipment plans and schedules based on customer requirements and carrier availability.

Coordinate with carriers to obtain rate quotes and scheduling options for customers.

Provide customers with multiple carrier options and pricing for approval.

Receive and assess customer rate quote inquiries.

Place bookings with carriers and obtain booking confirmations.

Ensure timely follow-up on required documentation and approvals.

Reviews of Daily Shipping Reports (DSR) and shipment planning to identify areas for improvement.

Application for Form 13 with the terminal as required.

Send pre alerts to customers.

What are we seeking for:

•                    Should be fluent in English.

•                    A smiling face, a healthy mind and body, and a positive attitude are a must.

•                    Knowledge on operational procedures for handling Air shipments.

•                    Strong communication and interpersonal Skills.

•                    Experience with Global Freight Forwarding Companies.

•                    Good experience with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

•                     Knowledge of Internation trade terms (Incoterms) & Customs Regulations.

Education Qualification – Graduate

Experience – 2-3 years

Salary – 3 to 3.5 LPA

Location – Nanganallur, Chennai
