Bar Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar in Itanagar. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, skilled in mixology, and experienced in managing teams, inventory, and guest satisfaction. As Bar Manager, you will ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the bar while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient workflow.
• Supervise, train, and motivate bartenders and bar staff to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee bar inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
• Develop and update drink menus, including signature cocktails, seasonal specials, and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the bar area.
• Monitor bar profitability, control costs, and ensure minimal wastage.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams for smooth coordination during peak hours.
• Organize events, tastings, or themed nights to drive engagement and revenue.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3–5 years) as a Bar Manager or Head Bartender in a busy hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and bar equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to lead by example and train junior team members.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Willingness to work late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

• Certification in Hospitality Management, Bartending, or Mixology.
• Knowledge of local and international beverage trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
