Ā· Development and maintenance of the new software platform.
Ā· Design of a scalable and highly configurable cloud native solution targeting multiple geographic jurisdictions and asset types.
Ā· Ensure all developments fit within the overall system architecture and design strategy, and make sure code is of a consistent and appropriate standard.
Ā· Manage and maintain the company codebase using industry best practice to provide full audit and control capabilities.
Ā· Work with all stakeholders to best prioritise system developments and deliver to agreed release schedules.
Ā· Work closely with the test team to design and implement robust automatic testing in an agile fashion.
Ā· Work as part of the Scrum team to analyse and estimate sprint items.
Ā· Keep abreast with Testing best practices and new trends.
Ā· Ownership of the Project Horizon code base and production environment deployed in Azure.
Ā· Ensure the solution meets design best practices as well as cybersecurity requirements.
Ā· Good knowledge of mortgage and lending markets in both loan originations and servicing areas.
Ā· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ā· Good documentation skills both technical and operational/process mapping etc.
Ā· Ability to work in Agile frameworks but adaptable and confident enough not to be driven by process or methodology for its own sake.
Ā· Clear and demonstrable ability to identify problems and work with colleagues to find appropriate solutions collaboratively.
Ā· Excellent C# skills (WebAPI, ASP.NET Core).
Ā· Excellent SQL Server, Azure SQL and NoSQL (CosmosDB) skills.
Ā· Good understanding of front-end technologies, specifically Angular and the supporting framework tools.
Ā· Experienced in cloud-native applications (preferably Azure) with good understanding of modular design and asynchronous communication.
Ā· Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS and IaC technologies ā Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible.
Ā· Able to demonstrate a track record of building high performing and reliable systems.
Ā· Strong advocate of CI/CD principles familiar with the Azure DevOps stack.
Ā· A strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ā· Competency in best practices and techniques ā BDD, design patterns, SOLID principles, DDD.
Ā· Ability to analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in the appropriate timescale.
Ā· Self-motivator and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider development team
Ā· Able to multitask and work across multiple products.
Ā· Be open to receive feedback and constructive criticism to drive improvements and deliverables.
Ā· Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams.
Ā· Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
Ā· Ability to handle high pressure and fast paced situations.
Ā· Ability to quickly and positively adapt to change.
Ā· Strong preference for candidates with 5-7 yearsā experience in the Financial Services industry.
