Main Responsibilities · Development and maintenance of the new software platform. · Design of a scalable and highly configurable cloud native solution targeting multiple geographic jurisdictions and asset types. · Ensure all developments fit within the overall system architecture and design strategy, and make sure code is of a consistent and appropriate standard. · Manage and maintain the company codebase using industry best practice to provide full audit and control capabilities. · Work with all stakeholders to best prioritise system developments and deliver to agreed release schedules. · Work closely with the test team to design and implement robust automatic testing in an agile fashion. · Work as part of the Scrum team to analyse and estimate sprint items. · Keep abreast with Testing best practices and new trends. Accountabilities · Ownership of the Project Horizon code base and production environment deployed in Azure. Regulation · Ensure the solution meets design best practices as well as cybersecurity requirements. Competencies · Good knowledge of mortgage and lending markets in both loan originations and servicing areas. · Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. · Good documentation skills both technical and operational/process mapping etc. · Ability to work in Agile frameworks but adaptable and confident enough not to be driven by process or methodology for its own sake. · Clear and demonstrable ability to identify problems and work with colleagues to find appropriate solutions collaboratively. Your skills · Excellent C# skills (WebAPI, ASP.NET Core). · Excellent SQL Server, Azure SQL and NoSQL (CosmosDB) skills. · Good understanding of front-end technologies, specifically Angular and the supporting framework tools. · Experienced in cloud-native applications (preferably Azure) with good understanding of modular design and asynchronous communication. · Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS and IaC technologies – Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible. · Able to demonstrate a track record of building high performing and reliable systems. · Strong advocate of CI/CD principles familiar with the Azure DevOps stack. · A strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences. · Competency in best practices and techniques – BDD, design patterns, SOLID principles, DDD. · Ability to analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in the appropriate timescale. · Self-motivator and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider development team · Able to multitask and work across multiple products. · Be open to receive feedback and constructive criticism to drive improvements and deliverables. · Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams. · Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. · Ability to handle high pressure and fast paced situations. · Ability to quickly and positively adapt to change. · Strong preference for candidates with 5-7 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. About the role The National Collection Head will be responsible for leading the national field recovery efforts for early-stage delinquencies, with a specific focus on unsecured loan products. This role requires strategic leadership in driving recovery performance through on-ground execution across multiple regions, particularly in high-volume and high-risk geographies. The ideal candidate should have deep operational expertise, having handled field recovery across at least three states, and must demonstrate experience in managing large unsecured portfolios Location: Mumbai Main Responsibilities 1. Collection Strategy & Execution • Develop and execute field recovery strategies for early-stage overdue unsecured accounts. • Minimize roll forward rates through region-wise planning and robust execution. • Align field recovery plans with broader organizational goals and contact center efforts. 2. Field Operations Management • Lead and oversee field collection teams operating across multiple states. • Create region-specific action plans based on demographic insights and delinquency patterns. • Track performance through KPIs to ensure timely and efficient recoveries. 3. Team Leadership • Manage and guide regional and zonal collection heads across geographies. • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and ethical recovery practices. • Drive continuous training and team development to enhance capability. 4. Process Optimization • Strengthen coordination between field and contact center teams for better conversion. • Implement process improvements using tech-enabled collection tools and dashboards. • Ensure SOPs are followed uniformly across all regional operations. 5. Customer Relationship Management • Encourage a respectful, solution-oriented approach in all customer interactions. • Empower teams to offer structured repayment solutions for customers in hardship. • Monitor field conduct and maintain customer experience standards. 6. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure end-to-end compliance with RBI guidelines, industry norms, and internal audit standards. • Establish controls to prevent unethical practices and ensure grievance redressal. • Work closely with compliance and legal for escalated recovery actions. 7. Stakeholder Engagement • Liaise with internal teams – Credit, Risk, Product, and Legal – for portfolio support and strategy. • Provide regular performance updates to leadership, along with insights on risk pockets and recovery trends.
