About Us

AVP/VP – Finance

Role Overview

As AVP/VP – Finance, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance function including lender reconciliation, budgeting, financial planning, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making. You will work closely with our leadership team, lending partners, and external stakeholders while managing and expanding an internal finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting Operations

• Lead and oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts, payables/receivables, reconciliations, and financial control systems.
• Own

  loan and lender reconciliations

  , income calculation, expense tracking, and fund flows across lending partners and NBFCs.
• Ensure accurate and timely

  loan product reconciliations

  with NBFC partners.

Strategic Financial Management

• Lead

  budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash flow management

  .
• Prepare and manage

  monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports

  for founders and investors.
• Support the leadership with data-driven

  financial insights and strategic recommendations

  .

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure timely preparation of

  Balance Sheets, P&L statements

  , and other statutory reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and consultants to ensure

  compliance with financial regulations

  , tax laws, and NBFC guidelines.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support compliance audits.

Team Building & Leadership

• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing

  finance and accounts team

• Create systems and processes to scale the function effectively and support rapid company growth.

Lending Partner & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the

  primary finance liaison

  for NBFCs and lending partners.
• Handle partner reporting, disbursement and collection reconciliations, interest income tracking, and more.

Requirements

• 6–15 years

  of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, with

  at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role

  .
• Prior experience in

  Digital Lending Fintechs or NBFCs

  is a

  must

  .
• Deep understanding of

  loan servicing, financial products, and credit operations

  .
• Strong experience with

  financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS

  .
• Proven track record in handling

  partner reconciliations, fund management, and audit processes

  .
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to scale a function from ground up.
• CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
