AVP - Loan Management System

This role is responsible to lead the development, enhancement and maintenance of the Loan Management System. Also, to drive the end-to-end technology strategy to streamline loan origination, processing, servicing and reporting, ensuring high performance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

-Lead the design, development, and enhancement of the Loan Management System, leveraging Java for application logic and PL/SQL for database programming Oversee end-to-end LMS functionality, including loan origination, underwriting, disbursal, servicing, collections and reporting Collaborate with business analysts, risk and compliance teams to translate loan processing requirements into technical specifications

Manage database design, performance tuning, stored procedures, and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL.

-Ensure system scalability, data integrity and security compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Supervise the integration of the LMS with third-party systems such as credit bureaus, payment gateways, CRM and accounting platforms Drive continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades aligned with business needs

-Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability

-Prepare technical documentation and reporting for senior management and auditors

-Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies

Job Requirements

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology

Experience

20+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on loan or financial systems

Functional Competencies

Strong expertise in Java (Spring framework preferred) and PL/SQL

Experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or similar

Proven experience leading a development team and managing complex projects

Solid understanding of loan products, lending lifecycle, credit risk, and compliance

Hands-on experience with APIs, middleware, and system integrations

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git)
