About the Role:

Assistant Vice President – Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and reach out to private companies and high-growth businesses for potential investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, CXOs, and key stakeholders of target firms.
• Conduct preliminary due diligence and evaluate business models, financial performance, and growth prospects of potential investee companies.
• Coordinate with internal teams for financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment memos.
• Support in structuring deals, negotiations, and preparing term sheets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sectoral developments, and emerging investment themes.
• Represent the firm in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to source new deal opportunities.
• Liaise with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of investment transactions.
• Track portfolio performance and maintain ongoing engagement with invested companies.

Key Requirements:

• MBA in Finance / CFA / CA or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
• Proven experience in deal origination, relationship management, and investment evaluation of private companies.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Established industry network and ability to build new relationships.
