Key Responsibilities


Creative Direction:

  • Develop and lead the company's design strategy, ensuring a unified and modern visual identity that captures the attention of the company’s target audience, meeting the company’s branding, vision, and growth goals.
  • Set the visual direction for all projects and campaigns, ensuring consistent branding across all platforms, including digital, print, packaging, and multimedia, as may be the case.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the graphic design team, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, mentor team members, and provide feedback to help grow their skills and career development.
  • Manage design resource allocation, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.

Out-of-the-Box Thinking:

  • Foster an environment that encourages unconventional, boundary-pushing design ideas.
  • Develop creative solutions that differentiate the brand from competitors and attract attention in a crowded market.
  • Challenge the status quo by questioning existing design norms and exploring new formats, technologies, and approaches.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions that inspire fresh and imaginative concepts, moving beyond traditional design boundaries.
  • Drive disruptive, marketing-focused design approaches that engage and captivate modern consumers across digital platforms.

User-Centric Design:

  • Lead the team in creating designs that are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the end-user's needs and behaviors.
  • Incorporate accessibility best practices to ensure that designs are inclusive and usable by people with diverse abilities.
  • Focus on crafting experiences that delight users while solving their pain points, ultimately driving user satisfaction and engagement.

Design Production & Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all designs meet high-quality standards, with close attention to detail in typography, color, layout, and branding.
  • Work with external agencies, freelancers, and other creative vendors to ensure top-notch deliverables.
  • Ensure all creative output is optimized for various mediums such as digital ads, social media, website content, print materials, etc.

Brand Identity:

  • Lead efforts to strengthen and evolve the company's brand identity, making it memorable and distinctive.
  • Own and evolve the company’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all visual communication channels and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a robust brand book, outlining the company’s visual standards, color schemes, typography, and design philosophy.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage the overall creative workflow, including concepting, storyboarding, designing, and final production.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, sales, and other teams to create visually compelling assets that support and elevate company initiatives.
  • Lead design strategy meetings with key stakeholders, translating business objectives into creative strategies.

Design Optimization:

  • Ensure all designs are optimized for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and mobile applications, ensuring that they drive engagement and conversion.

Qualifications & Experience (must-have)

  • 12–15 years of experience in graphic design

    , preferably with exposure to design thinking and user-centric design approaches with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role, with hands-on expertise in both traditional and digital design elements.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

    in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field from a premier/renowned design institute is highly preferred.
  • Strong design background

    from a premier/reputed design school/institute (highly preferred).
  • Proven track record of leading creative teams

    and driving the visual identity of brands.
  • Expertise in modern design tools and software

    , including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and others.
  • Marketing-focused mindset:

    Ability to create designs that not only look great but also deliver on key marketing objectives.
  • Strong understanding of how modern consumers interact with brands

    online (consumer behavior) and the type of content that grabs attention and drives engagement.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking

    with a strong sense of creativity and the ability to deliver disruptive, attention-grabbing, and eye-catching designs.
  • Experience working with luxury/UHNI/HNI clients

    is highly preferred.
