Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor identification, evaluation, and negotiation to ensure timely supply of materials.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality materials at competitive prices.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality, and logistics for material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Prepare and analyze purchase reports, cost analysis, and vendor performance metrics.
• Assist in resolving procurement-related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, and payment disputes.
• Support vendor audits and maintain updated vendor records.
• Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and alternative sourcing options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good understanding of vendor management and procurement processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and purchase management software/ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
