- Experience: 5+ years in data operations, data management, data analytics, automation, or a related field.
- SQL Expertise: Advanced ability to write and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Python Proficiency: Practical experience with Pandas and NumPy, along with familiarity in visualization and analytics libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Scikit-learn.
- Tools & Platforms: Working knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and data visualization tools such as Power BI (or similar).
- Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and integration technologies.
- Big Data Handling: Proven experience managing and analyzing extremely large datasets.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey complex concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Problem-Solving: Advanced critical-thinking skills to address complex issues and optimize processes for large-scale data management.
- Process Improvement: Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency through technology and automation.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Global Collaboration: Willingness to work across time zones, primarily with stakeholders in India and Brussels, including early morning calls as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related major.
Responsibilities
- Data Quality Management: Develop and implement robust processes and methodologies to monitor, measure, and enhance data quality across multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Data Operations Optimization: Continuously assess and improve data operations workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Integration & ETL: Lead the design and execution of data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to enable seamless data flow across systems, applications, and databases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Sales, Content, and Product Strategy to understand customer use cases, business requirements, and priorities. Collaborate extensively with Technology teams to design and optimize data architecture, data models, and data pipelines that align with organizational objectives.
