Role Overview

Regional College of Management Bangalore is seeking a seasoned Finance Faculty with strong academic grounding and practical exposure to financial concepts and decision-making. The role requires the ability to deliver conceptually rigorous yet application-oriented finance education to postgraduate management students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core and advanced

  Finance

  subjects, including but not limited to: Financial Management; Accounting for Managers; Corporate Finance; Financial Analysis & Reporting; Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management; Strategic Finance / Risk Management; Financial Markets; Fintech; And other Finance specialization subjects
• Apply real-world financial scenarios, case studies, and industry examples in classroom delivery
• Mentor students on academic performance, specialization choices, and career pathways in finance
• Guide students in projects, research work, and financial modeling assignments
• Undertaking examination related responsibilities
• Contribute to curriculum design, review, and continuous improvement
• Participate in academic initiatives such as faculty development programs, seminars, workshops, and finance-related events
• Support placement and career-readiness initiatives through interview preparation and domain guidance

Required Qualifications & Experience

• MBA (Finance) or M.Com (Finance) from a well recognized institution or CA/ICWA (mandatory). Ph.D/NET will be desirable
• 10–15 years of overall experience, with strong academic and/or industry exposure in finance-related roles
• Teaching experience in higher education preferred
• Strong command over financial concepts, analysis, and interpretation
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, financial models, and analytical frameworks
• Excellent communication, classroom engagement, and mentoring skills

Preferred Profile

• Candidates with corporate finance, banking, investment, accounting, consulting, or audit experience
• Faculty with prior experience in teaching MBA or postgraduate level finance courses
• Professionals with exposure to Financial modeling, Valuation, Capital markets or risk analysis
• Research publications, certifications (CA, CFA, FRM), or industry training experience are a plus
