Role Overview

Regional College of Management Bangalore is seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM) professional with deep, hands-on industry exposure to deliver practical, operations-driven learning. The role is designed for seasoned practitioners who can translate real-world supply chain challenges into classroom insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core and advanced subjects in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, including: Supply Chain Design & Strategy; Logistics & Transportation Management; Procurement & Vendor Management; Inventory & Warehouse Management; Operations Planning & Control
• Integrate real-world case studies, live examples, and operational scenarios into teaching
• Expose students to end-to-end supply chain workflows across industries
• Guide students on: Live projects; Capstone assignments; Industry-aligned problem statements
• Mentor students on careers in supply chain, logistics, and operations roles
• Collaborate with the institution on: Industry visits; Guest lectures; Corporate interactions
• Support placement readiness through domain-specific interview preparation

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of professional industry experience in: Logistics; Supply Chain; Operations; Manufacturing / Distribution environments
• Strong practical understanding of: Supply chain execution and optimization; Cost control and efficiency improvement; Vendor and logistics partner management
• Ability to connect operational realities with management-level decision-making
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Preferred Profile

• Professionals who have worked in: Manufacturing; FMCG; E-commerce; Retail; Third-party logistics (3PL)
• Experience in roles such as: Supply Chain Manager; Operations Head; Logistics Lead
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is a plus (not mandatory)
• Practitioner-led teaching orientation strongly preferred
