ProfitGate Capital is seeking an accomplished Associate to join our Nagpur office and play an integral role in ensuring seamless PMS operations, stringent compliance adherence, and robust investment research support. This full-time, in-person position supports the operational backbone of our PMS offerings, reinforcing quality execution, regulatory standards, and research-driven investment processes.

PMS Operations

• Execute and reconcile trades efficiently while maintaining accurate portfolio and transaction records.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and service vendors for smooth operational workflows.
• Prepare client and regulatory management information systems (MIS), and assist with audits and reporting protocols.

Compliance

• Ensure rigorous adherence to SEBI PMS regulations, including insider trading norms, AML/KYC standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage compliance documentation, monitor processes, and proactively identify potential regulatory breaches.
• Stay abreast of evolving SEBI regulations affecting PMS operations and ensure timely incorporation into workflows.

Investment Research Support

• Assist in detailed investment research, including data gathering, financial analysis, and due diligence to support portfolio decision-making.
• Work closely with the investment team to gather market intelligence and assist in drafting research notes, reports, and presentations.
• Support investment thesis development through quantitative and qualitative analysis across sectors and companies.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Accounting, or related disciplines (e.g., B.Com, BMS, BBA, MBA (Finance), CFA, CA).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment management, PMS operations, or financial services with a strong understanding of regulatory environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask in a disciplined manner.
• Excellent communication skills facilitating clear liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
