Associate Manager

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager in Inplant Fuel Management with a background in Thermal power generation industry to join our team in Raipur, Chattisgarh. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience in fuel management within the thermal power generation sector. As the Associate Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the inplant fuel management processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Roles and Responsibilities: The Associate Manager - Inplant Fuel Management will be responsible for: - Developing and implementing strategies to optimize fuel sourcing, procurement, and utilization within the plant - Monitoring fuel inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries - Analyzing fuel consumption data and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline fuel management processes - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to fuel handling - Preparing reports and presentations on fuel management performance for management review - Participating in budget planning and cost control activities related to fuel management - Training and mentoring junior staff members in fuel management best practices - Keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in fuel management Non-Negotiable Skills: - Expertise in fuel sourcing, procurement, and management - Knowledge of thermal power generation processes and equipment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (required) - Master's degree in Energy Management or equivalent (preferred)
