, a senior functional leadership position supporting a major global Re/Insurance client specializing in
Specialty P&C
across the
UK (London Market), Europe, Bermuda, US, and Latin America
.You will lead and manage a diverse team of ~270 professionals across
Underwriting Support (UWS)
,
Claims
, and
Finance & Accounting (F&A)
– including R2R, P2P, I2C, FP&A, Tax, Statutory Reporting, and Delegated Authority operations for both
Assumed and Ceded Reinsurance
portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Service Delivery: Lead full-spectrum operations across UWS, Claims, and F&A, ensuring best-in-class delivery and client satisfaction across functional and CXO levels.
- Domain Expertise: Bring deep domain knowledge in Specialty Insurance, Reinsurance, and particularly London Market F&A processes, including regulatory reporting and investment accounting.
- Client Management: Independently manage client relationships up to CXO level, ensuring alignment on goals, proactive communication, and value delivery.
- Transformation & Value Delivery: Drive zero-surprise operations through continuous improvement, process excellence, and tech-enabled transformation using data and analytics.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Foster Genpact’s CI² culture; lead talent development, retention, and upskilling initiatives across global teams (including teams based in Kuala Lumpur).
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams—Operations, Digital, Transformation, Transitions, HR, and Service Lines—to execute strategic programs.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure contractual, regulatory, and performance SLAs are consistently met or exceeded.
- New Business Support: Partner in new deal processes including solutioning, due diligence, pricing, transitions, and stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance or Accounting (CA preferred)
- Significant experience in F&A operations across all three towers: R2R, P2P, I2C
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex delivery operations (250+ span)
- Hands-on understanding of Regulatory Reporting, Investment Accounting, Credit Control, AP, AR
- Expertise in London Market operations and Specialty Insurance/Reinsurance workflows
- Strong client management and stakeholder engagement experience
- Proven ability to manage distributed/global teams
- Experience in applying Lean Six Sigma or equivalent frameworks
- P&L ownership and commercial management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Postgraduate from top-tier Commerce/Finance institutions
- Prior experience managing global teams, including offshore hubs (e.g., Kuala Lumpur)
- Strong business acumen and intellectual agility
- Experience handling multiple client relationships
Must-Have Skills
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience across F&A towers
- End-to-end service delivery leadership in Finance and Insurance operations
- Transformation mindset with exposure to tech/data-enabled delivery models

- Exposure to Reinsurance operations (Ceded/Assumed)
