Assistant Service Manager

The Assistant to the Service Manager will support the DG Service Department in coordinating service operations, managing documentation, and ensuring timely execution of service activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical awareness of DG sets, and effective communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling DG set service activities across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and customers for smooth execution of service tasks.
• Track service requests, rectifications, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain service records, customer updates,
• Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for review for the meetings.
• Ensure proper documentation of commissioning, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
• Follow up on vendor payments, service authorizations, and compliance requirements.
• Support communication with customers regarding service schedules, rectification plans, and training sessions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of DG set operations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for professional emails and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in service coordination or technical operations (DG sets or related industry).
• Experience in vendor management and customer coordination will be an added advantage.
• Process-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
