Designation: Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Hyderabad Department: Sales / Business DevelopmentReporting To: National Sales HeadIndustry: Building Materials, Interior Solutions, Lighting, Furniture, Hardware, etcSalary – Depends on Candidates ExperienceJob Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to manage businessdevelopment activities by engaging with architects for project specifications and developing astrong dealer/distributor network to drive sales. The ideal candidate will play a critical role inconnecting product specification to execution through effective channel and influencermanagement.Key Responsibilities:Engagement with Architects: Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, andconsultants. Promote and present products for inclusion in upcoming residential, commercial, orinfrastructure projects. Conduct product demos, presentations, and training for the Architect and Dealercommunity. Track project pipelines through architects and follow through to conversion via channelpartners.Dealer/Channel Management: Identify and onboard new dealers/distributors in assigned territories. Manage existing dealer relationships to drive sales volume and product penetration. Support dealers with marketing materials, schemes, training, and inventory planning. Ensure timely order placement, delivery coordination, and after-sales service.General Sales & Reporting: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets from both architect and dealer channels. Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, product) for smooth operations. Submit timely reports on visits, leads, conversions, and competitor activity. Stay updated on market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in buildingmaterials or interior solutions. Proven experience in working with both influencers (architects) and dealer/channelpartners. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.Key Skills: B2B Sales Channel Sales Management Architect/Influencer Management Specification Selling Territory Management Relationship Building Negotiation & Closing
