Assistant Manager – Renewable Energy Consulting

Location: Centura Square IT Park, Wagle Estate, Thane, Maharashtra

Salary Range: ₹4,50,000 – ₹7,50,000 per annum
Eligibility: Preference to candidates from Thane District

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Renewable Energy Consulting will support and partially lead technical, commercial, and regulatory assignments across large-scale solar and hybrid projects. The role demands strong analytical capability, structured project execution, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Delivery & Analysis

  • Support and lead components of Feasibility Studies, DPRs, TEV Reports, and Technical Due Diligence
  • Conduct CUF estimation, energy modelling, shading analysis, and system sizing
  • Review BOQs, SLDs, engineering drawings, and EPC design documents
  • Assist in project cost analysis, risks, and techno-commercial evaluations

2. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Site Teams for project execution
  • Maintain trackers, MIS reports, documentation, and structured technical notes
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project-related outputs

3. Client & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Support senior management during client meetings and presentations
  • Prepare technical briefs, proposals, progress reports, and communication documents
  • Assist in managing external consultants and EPC partners

4. Regulatory & Policy Analysis

  • Review MERC/CERC regulations, grid codes, open access policies
  • Contribute to tariff assessments, commercial modelling, and regulatory impact analyses

5. Team & Internal Development

  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and interns
  • Strengthen internal processes, templates, and documentation standards

Candidate ProfileEducation

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Energy Engineering
  • Minimum CGPA: 7.0 (or 70% equivalent)
  • Strong academic clarity and no pending backlogs

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in:

  • Renewable Energy Consulting
  • Solar or hybrid project engineering
  • Feasibility studies, due diligence, or technical documentation
  • EPC/EPCM coordination (preferred)

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and professional documentation
  • Exposure to PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or equivalent tools
  • Ability to interpret layouts, SLDs, BOQs, and engineering drawings
