Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance
Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Manager is a responsible for establishing, monitoring, and enforcing project quality standards and compliance across all Training Centres (TCs) under the DDU-GKY project. This role ensures that all operational processes—from mobilisation and training delivery to documentation and post-placement tracking—adhere strictly to the DDU-GKY Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and achieve a high standard of quality mandated by MoRD/SRLM.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Compliance and Audit Management.
SOP Enforcement: Establish and enforce a Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring strict adherence to all DDU-GKY SOPs.
Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits and site visits to all Training Centres (TCs) to proactively identify compliance gaps.
External Inspection Support: Lead coordination for all external inspections (CTSA, SRLM, MoRD) and third-party auditors.
2. Training Quality and Standardisation
Training Evaluation: Assess training methodologies, curriculum delivery, and resource utilization for quality outcomes.
Trainer Monitoring: Evaluate trainer competency through observations and performance reviews.
Infrastructure Check: Verify that TCs and hostel facilities meet DDU-GKY quality and safety standards.
3. Documentation and MIS Quality
Dossier Integrity: Oversee Centre Managers to ensure all candidate dossiers and physical records are complete, accurate, and compliant.
Data Verification: Cross-verify data on DDU-GKY portals (Kaushal Panjee, MIS) against physical records to ensure data fidelity.
Certification Quality: Ensure flawless execution of candidate assessment, biometric attendance, and certification processes per regulations. dossiers and physical records are complete, accurate, and compliant.
Education
Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline (Social Sciences, Management, or Rural Development preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in quality management or compliance, with 3+ years specifically auditing/managing DDU-GKY or similar government livelihood programs.
DDU-GKY Expertise:
Expert-level knowledge of DDU-GKY SOP (all versions), DDU-GKY guidelines, and the MoRD Quality framework.
Auditing Skills:
Proven ability to design and execute audit checklists, generate detailed reports, and monitor CAPA implementation.
Language:
Fluency in English, Hindi, and knowledge of regional language will be an added advantage
Communication:
Excellent reporting, documentation, and interpersonal skills for coordinating with project heads, centre staff, and government officials.
Travel:
Must be willing to travel to various project locations.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range will be Rs.20,000-Rs.25,000 per month, though it may be higher for candidates with outstanding potential
