Job Description

Job Summary

This play a key role in ensuring product reliability, consistency, and compliance with industry standards. This role focuses on strengthening quality systems, driving process improvements, and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Assurance

  • Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products against defined standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality systems throughout production.
  • Develop SOPs, checklists, and other quality documentation.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Process Improvement

  • Analyze production data and customer feedback to detect recurring issues.
  • Partner with production, design, and R&D teams to improve product performance.
  • Conduct in-line inspections, final random inspections, and factory audits to ensure compliance.

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations (REACH, CPSIA, ISO, etc.).
  • Support the upkeep of certifications such as ISO 9001, SA8000, and others.

Team Collaboration

  • Train operators, supervisors, and junior QC inspectors in quality protocols.
  • Work closely with sourcing, merchandising, and vendor teams on quality alignment.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain quality records, defect logs, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
  • Track and report KPIs to leadership, recommending improvements based on data insights.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in quality control, assurance, or product improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (RCA, CAPA, SPC, etc.).
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and standards (ISO, REACH, CPSIA).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
