Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage the recruitment and onboarding activities and employee life cycle

Managing the talent acquisition process including identification of vacancies, collaborating with consultants for qualification of suitable candidates, arranging interviews, negotiating and finalizing the offer etc.

Ensure smooth on-boarding of new employees by managing induction programs, resolving queries and coordinating with them for timely completion of joining formalities

Manage employee engagement initiatives

Support the designing of the annual engagement calendar for JPL, including activities such as management/technical forums, open houses and award functions

Drive employee engagement initiatives at both the plant and township

Contribute to compliance with statutory regulations (Environmental law, health and safety regulations etc... thereby supporting required standards at work and ensuring smooth asset operations with zero instances of non-compliance.

Ensure 100% adherence to HSSE guidelines prepared for the HR department with the objective of ensuring human health, safety and minimization of waste generated at the workplace

Support HSSE team initiatives (e.g. Safety Day, Environment Day etc.) to help create a culture of awareness on safety, health and environment

Manage the PMS processes

Support in initiatives to help drive buy-in on the PMS philosophy

Support in ensuring that the KRAs of the employees are in line with the organizational targets.

Payroll, digitisation, reporting and analytics

Ensure that the payroll inputs, F&F inputs and other employee payments are sent within the time-lines and with accuracy.

Ensure that the reporting requirements pertaining to the department is delivered with the required quality.

Ensure that the MIS reports are prepared and sent on time.

Preferred candidate profile

Overall experience: 5-7 years

Specific experience: Minimum 2-3 years in EE and recruitment

Minimum education qualification: Any Graduate/ Post Graduate. MBA in HR will be an advantage.
