Job Title: Sales Manager – MS PipesCompany: GSPL RHINO (Goa Sponge and Power Ltd)


Location: Mumbai, Pune, kohlapur, chennai & coimbatore.


Department: Sales & Marketing – Steel Division (MS Pipes)


Reporting to: Head – Business Operations



Job Objective:


To drive sales, build a strong dealer/distributor network, and achieve revenue growth targets for GSPL RHINO MS Pipes across assigned regions. The role demands strategic planning, relationship building, and on-ground execution to ensure GSPL RHINO becomes a preferred brand in the market.



Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Execution:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in volume and value.

• Implement pricing, discounting, and promotional strategies aligned with market trends.

• Monitor competitor activities and pricing and provide timely feedback.

• Dealer/Distributor Network:

• Develop and manage a strong network of dealers, stockists, and project customers.

• Identify and onboard new channel partners in uncovered or underperforming markets.

• Ensure timely order processing, dispatches, and customer satisfaction.

• Market Development:

• Increase market share in construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, trade meets, and retail activations.

• Collect customer feedback and market intelligence regularly.

• Team Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams for smooth operations.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.

• Participate in strategic review meetings and suggest improvements.



Key Requirements:

• Education:

Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc / BBA) with MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales preferred.

• Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years in B2B or channel sales in steel pipes, construction materials, or industrial products.

• Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to travel extensively.

• Knowledge of local markets and customer base.

• Proficiency in CRM, MS Excel, and reporting tools.



KPIs:

• Monthly sales volume achievement (in MT)

• New dealer appointments and active channel growth

• Collection efficiency and overdue control

• Market share growth vs. competitors

• Customer satisfaction score
