Job Description

We have two urgent vacancies in SMT production

1) Assistant Manager - 6-10 Years Exp

2) Sr. Engineer - 3-6 Years Exp

Location - Ecotech 3, Greater Noida

Job Summary

Responsible for managing daily operations and team coordination in the SMT department. The role includes production monitoring, quality control, consumables and spare parts review, and regular audits to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant SMT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Engage in daily discussions with SMT staff and workers on production topics.
Attend production meetings and analyze idle time.
Review top consumables usage data and initiate corrective actions if needed.
Analyze and act on OS&D (Out of Specification & Defects) reports.
Monitor and report the Top 5 quality issues regularly.
Conduct weekly 6S audits on the shop floor for cleanliness and process discipline.
Maintain and update the weekly project tracker and production reports.
Review semi-finished goods (SFG) and manufacturing process (MP) status.
Perform SLE (System Level Evaluation) reviews to ensure performance targets are met.
Review Monthly MIS reports for performance tracking.
Conduct ERP vs physical inventory reconciliation.
Oversee spare parts availability and stock accuracy for uninterrupted operations.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of SMT processes and machinery
Team leadership and communication skills
Experience with ERP systems and production data tracking
Ability to conduct audits and drive process improvements
Knowledge of quality systems and reporting (MIS, OS&D, etc.)
