Your primary duty will involve setting up and configuring the Panasonic mounter to ensure the precise placement of electronic components on printed circuit boards. This role requires a deep understanding of SMT processes and equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programming parameters for optimal production efficiency. Ensuring the smooth & Efficient operation of surface mount technology (SMT) production lines. •Adjust, set up & operate SMT machines per job order. •Monitor product through entire SMT process. Required Candidate profile Must have experience in Yamaha SMT Machine •Lighting Experience Preferred.

•Operation of SMT machine, Printers, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow ovens, AOI. Monitor all daily functions of the SMT line with respect to production output, daily priorities, scrap management, quality and production processes.

•Setting up, loading components & materials. •Operating SMT Machines. •Running production runs Proficiency in operating SMT equipment.

Oversee & manage the SMT production line, ensuring efficient production planning, scheduling & execution. Set up, operate, maintain SMT assembly equipment Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste & improve quality.

Job Role: The SMT Engineer will be responsible for the operation, setup, troubleshooting and maintenance of SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) lines used for PCB assembly. This role ensures smooth production, quality outputs and minimal downtime in the electronics manufacturing process. Job Responsibilities Operate and manage SMT production lines, including printers, pick & place machines and reflow ovens. Perform setup, changeovers and adjustments as per production requirements. Monitor line performance, yield and quality to ensure defect-free PCB assemblies. Troubleshoot SMT equipment and process issues to minimize downtime. Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all SMT machines and related equipment. Ensure compliance with ESD, safety and quality standards during production. Analyse process data and production reports to identify improvements in line efficiency. Collaborate with production, quality and maintenance teams to meet daily targets. Requirements: Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field. 25 years of hands-on experience in SMT production in electronics manufacturing. Strong knowledge of SMT processes, soldering quality standards and IPC standards. Experience with SMT equipment such as Yamaha, Juki, Fuji, or Panasonic (advantage). Proficiency in troubleshooting, line balancing and yield improvement. Understanding of ESD control, quality inspection and rework processes.

Key Responsibilities: Setup, program, and troubleshoot Panasonic SMT machines. Perform preventive maintenance and reduce downtime. Analyze and resolve quality issues (AOI, SPI, X-ray). Support NPI and process improvements. Ensure ESD, safety, and quality compliance. Qualifications: Diploma/B.E. in Electronics or related field. 4+ years SMT experience with Panasonic machines. Knowledge of IPC standards and SMT inspection tools.
