Design and develop electro-mechanical systems. Select components per customer and MIL requirements. Create and test prototypes. Generate 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks. Select materials per airborne standards. Design validation and testing.
•Operation of SMT machine, Printers, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow ovens, AOI. Monitor all daily functions of the SMT line with respect to production output, daily priorities, scrap management, quality and production processes.
.Inspection knowledge of cable harness. Knowledge for carrying out First article Inspection (FAI). Should be able to handle to QMS audits , Customer Pre despatch inspections & customer complaints.
Job Description: QC Engineer Wiring Harness Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed inspection and quality checks of cable harness assemblies as per defined standards. Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) on wiring harness components to ensure compliance with specifications. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the inspection process. Required Skills & Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cable harness inspection techniques and standards. Experience in conducting First Article Inspection (FAI). Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) audits. Ability to manage customer pre-dispatch inspections and effectively communicate with customers. Problem-solving skills to handle and resolve customer complaints. Good documentation and reporting skills. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for aerospace systems, following applicable standards (e.g., AS9100, IPC standards). Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Perform design reviews, validation, and verification activities to ensure compliance with aerospace requirements. Support prototype development and testing activities, including troubleshooting design issues. Ensure designs meet electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements specific to aerospace applications. Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to select appropriate materials and components. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for design processes and standards adherence. Stay updated on aerospace industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Proven experience in designing wiring harnesses and cable assemblies, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors. Proficiency in CAD tools for wiring harness design (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD Electrical). Knowledge of aerospace standards such as AS9100, IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-STD. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles. Familiarity with environmental and safety requirements for aerospace components. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and quality orientation.
