Role & responsibilities SourcingSource and negotiate with potential suppliers, assess their capabilities and evaluate their suitability based on predefined criteria for the materials under the categories of Opex / Capex and servicesPurchasing and ProcurementManaging the daily purchasing activities/collaborating with internal customers to understand their requirements & develop procurement plans accordingly.Negotiating with the suppliers for the technical, timeline and pricingMaintain the supplier database, Purchase records preferably in ERP systemContinuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities.Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution.Supply Chain ManagementCo-ordinate for the shipping logistics and ensure the end-to-end data visibilityEnsure accurate documentationStay updated on regulatory requirements & ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in general and customs related and SEZ rules in particularPerformance ManagementEnsure the quality and timeline for all the suppliesMaintain the supplier performance (Quality/timeline) at required levelEnsure the continual improvement of supplier capacity & capability process enhancement.Risk Management/Assessment for Ramp up/ Business continuityPreferred candidate profile In-depth knowledge in Purchasing, Procurement function, and shall have exposure to best practices.Good experience in the Indian market and familiarity with local suppliers and sourcing channels.Strong Negotiation Skills along with the verbal and written communication skills.Hands on experience in ERP MM Module preferably SAP and Strong Excel skill.In-depth knowledge in Customs related and SEZ Rules.
