Senior Executive - Production (Falcon Jet Final Assembl).

Purpose:

As part of the aerostructure transfer program from Dassault Aviation France to DRAL India, we are looking for an experienced Layout Supervisor to manage and optimize the elementary unit production operations.

You will play a key role in achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, leading a team, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders during the transfer and localization program (Layout Step).

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve production objectives (cost, time, quality, quantity).
• Organize, operate, and optimize production layout activities.
• Lead and manage a shopfloor team with clear performance goals.
• Monitor daily output and ensure timely delivery of work packages.
• Handle team matters including leave planning, training, certifications, and performance reviews.
• Maintain shopfloor safety, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.
• Monitor and manage non-quality issues, costs, and justifications.
• Implement continuous improvement in time, quality, cost, and working conditions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and planning teams for production coordination.
• Adhere to environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies and regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of layout, assembly, and shop test processes.
• Read and interpret technical documentation in English.
• Familiar with administrative and financial basics related to production.
• Proficient in using production documentation and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Awareness of quality standards and compliance.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent team management and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Good listener with persuasive and instructional ability.
• Patience, discipline, and capability to handle production pace.

Additional Information:

• Training:

  Initial 6 months on-job-training in France

• Language:

  Fluent in English (French not mandatory but preferred).

• Certifications:

  Any shopfloor or team handling certifications are an advantage.

• Shift Flexibility:

  Should be open to working in shifts if required.
• Exposure to global work culture or international training is a plus.
